As the head of the research and development department, Ted Crisp (Jay Harrington) loves every day on the job. He loves his boss, Veronica (Portia de Rossi); loves working with colleagues Lem (Malcolm Barrett), Phil (Jonathan Slavin) and Linda (Andrea Anders); and loves turning the impossible into the plausible. But with his job come hazy ethical boundaries. As Ted always says: “Work’s not a question of right or wrong. It’s only about success or failure.” Luckily for Ted, he has his daughter Rose to keep him in line, but it’s not easy being a single dad and taking ideas one could only dream of and making them a reality.
